Celebration Square Meetings
The vast majority of the governance of the neighborhood is completed via email and meetings of the home owners. These meetings of the home owners are usually hosted at a nearby restaurant so that everyone can enjoy a meal while discussing the community.
Two of the main topics from the last meeting were trees and the home owner responsibilities for exterior maintenance. The trees that were recommended for removal or significant pruning have since been marked for resident input before the start of this project. As discussed, the trees are either overgrown, overcrowded, or simply too large for the space where they are planted so some selective work will improve the health and appearance of the remaining trees.
The house maintenance items are: exterior doors, privacy fences, porches, and porch posts/ railings. These are the responsibility of the home owner to maintain. This includes repairs and painting/ staining on a regular basis and home owners will receive a reminder if there are items to address on their home. Although the neighborhood has discussed the possibility of making some of these items the responsibility of the HOA to maintain, they remain the responsibility of the individual home owners since there are significant differences from house to house.
2010 Meetings: March 2010 and September 2010
The next meeting of the home owners should be in June or July 2011. Home owners will receive a notice with the date, location, and time via email and regular postal mail as always.
